The Chemical Brothers have a song on their newest album called “The Salmon Dance”. I was already fond of the unique sound and “funkiness” of this song. And after I saw the video, I liked the song even more. To be honest, it was exactly how I envisioned the video to this song would be. Very random. Apple has come out with the new iPod Touch. It features a Wi-Fi-enabled touch screen carbon-copy of the iPhone in every detail except it has no phone functionality. Users are able to search, browse, sample, buy and download music from the iTunes service directly from a portable device – no computer necessary. The company has also released software upgrades for the iPhone to allow the same.
According to Billboard.biz, “the company’s decision to make the iTunes music store accessible via Wi-Fi marks perhaps the most significant evolution of the iPod/iTunes juggernaut since it made a Windows-compatible version of iTunes.”

According to Billboard.com, Radiohead is asking fans to name the price for their seventh studio album, “In Rainbows.” The set will be available to download from the band’s website beginning October 10… with a disclaimer on the screen telling fans to name their own price for the purchase, “it’s up to you,” the disclaimer reads.
“Radiohead exited longtime label home EMI in 2005 and has yet to announce a new deal for distribution of its music beyond the “In Rainbows” package. But according to its publicist, the band will release a physical version of “In Rainbows” in 2008, with details to be announced.”

“Transformers”: The IMAX Experience… DreamWorks Pictures and Paramount Pictures’ “Transformers” has been digitally re-mastered into IMAX’s immersive format for Release in IMAX theaters on September 21, 2007.
Last night I saw the IMAX screening of Transformers and the sound and picture were definitely worth all the hype! If you grew up with these toys, like action films, or just are interested in a loud and suspenseful combat film… you should definitely check this film out in IMAX.

Has anyone ever seen Pink in concert? I saw her when she came to town with Justin Timberlake not too long ago, and it was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen. I wasn’t sure what to expect when I went, but she ended up putting on a phenomenal performance.
